Coğrafi işaret tescilli Tosya pirinci denetimden tam not aldı.
Sınai Mülkiyet Kanunu öncesinde 10 yılda bir yapılan denetimler kanunla beraber her yıl zorunlu oldu.
Tosya pirinci için gerçekleştirilen denetim, Tosya Belediye Başkanlığı himayesinde hayata geçirildi. Denetimi yapan Denetim Kuruluna Grup Ofis Marka Patent tarafından verilen eğitimle işlemlerin nasıl yapılacağı aktarıldı. Edinilen bilgiler çerçevesinde bir saha çalışması gerçekleştirildi.
Eğitim sonrasında ilk denetimi gerçekleştirilen Tosya pirinci, yetkililerden tam not aldı. Tosya Belediye Başkanı Kazım Şahin coğrafi işaret çalışmalarına oldukça önem verdiklerini, ileriye yönelik projeler geliştirdiklerini ifade etti.
